Dehradun: In October 2023 the Ngoenga School for Special Needs Children participated in two two-day (17-18) picnic in Fun and food Kingdom, Dehradun. This was one of the most awaited days of the year for the children. The staff and children departed at 8.30 a.m. and after reaching the park they were welcomed by the resort staff. They had breakfast and after that, the children participated in the amusement and water park under the careful observation of the staff. The most enjoyable time was spent in the pool area with 4 different slides, a wave pool, and a rain dance. The children were excited and danced to the thumping music played near the pool, even creating a few crazy steps. The teachers and staff also joined in. After a fun-filled morning, they enjoyed a special lunch. Everyone had a great time, and most students expressed their desire to revisit the place. It also helped strengthen the bond between the staff and the children.
The first-day picnic on October 17th, 2023, was held at the school’s auditorium, and the program was packed with various games and activities designed to keep the children and staff entertained. Special meals were served to everyone. We extend our special thanks and highest gratitude to the Tibet Relief Fund Association, U.K. London, for funding and sponsoring this two-day picnic.
