On 5 February 2014, Mr. Sonam Yougyal took charge from Mr. Karma Dhargyal as New Director of Ngoenga School for Tibetan Children with Special Needs based at Dehradun. He was transferred from Menlha Hospital, Phuntsokling Tibetan settlement, Odisha where he was working as an Executive Secretary since 2006.

He was also Executive Secretary of Dekyiling Hospital, Dehradun and Phende hospital, Hunsur and he was Dental Therapist as well as Laboratory Technician of Tibetan Homes School, Mussoorie.

He is managing the administrative work of Ngoenga School and working to enhance the children with courage, skill, and knowledge they need to survive in the society and our hope is to help shape the future of their children with special needs.
