Ngoenga School observes Teacher’s Day

Dehradun:On 5th September 2022 (Monday), the Ngoenga School for Tibetan Children with Special Needs organized Teachers’ Day celebrations on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former president of India. The function took place in the auditorium of the school. All the children and the staff were in their best smiles. The school hall has been beautifully decorated by the teaching staff department. The function started with the Tibetan & Indian National Anthem. Our school Director Mrs. Tashi Kunzom gave a speech about the day and graced the occasion and took part in the celebration. The Headmaster of the school also gave an inspiring & motivational speech about the importance of education in today’s world. Meanwhile, it can be witnessed that a few abled students distributed hand-made cards to the teachers and the other staff member.

The students of various classes performed together and put up entertaining cultural and non-culture songs and dances. There are a few new songs and dance collections in the program and we are extremely thankful to all the teaching staff department for their time and efforts. At the end of the program, the secretary of the school gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the teachers and also appreciated the teachers and the staff for their immense contribution to the institution for years. The entire program ended on a happy note.
