Tenzin Dedhen lives with six family members: her father who left home to earn better income to support his family, mother is a housewife, grandmother, two eight-year olds, one twin sibling, and one younger sibling. The whole family solely depends on the income that the father earns. The child has some difficulty with movement and after consulting the doctor, she was diagnosed with developmental delay. She is having difficulty with her speech and ability to learn. Her mother admitted her into Ngoenga School with a great hope that one day at least she can live a life that doesn't require depending on others. Therefore, any help rendered for this child will be highly appreciated.

Sonam T. Wangmo’s father works in a primary school as a teacher and her mother is a housewife. She suffers with sight and mobility, slight problem with hearing, and she cannot speak at all so, she is totally dependent on others requiring help on daily activities. The cause of her disability is unknown, but based on her mothers recollection, these difficulties were first noticed at the age of 4 months. Her mother consulted with the doctors in Bhutan and they confirmed that she is having problem related to her brain.

Sherab belongs to a very poor family. He is from a very remote place in Nepal called Tatopani. His mother is the sole bread winner who sells homemade butter to meet their daily needs. As being a disabled child, it was very difficult for the mother to look after him. Due to poor financial status, his mother admitted him to Ngoenga School.

Sonam Ladhun and her twin sister Neema Ladhun lived with their mother and two maternal aunties. Their father abandoned the family as soon as he came to know that the twin were disabled. The doctor diagnosed them and named their condition as Sjogren-Larsson Syndrome (SLS). The family depends on farming for their living & the mother is the sole source of income of the family. The child can communicate with gestures and a few words in their local Monpa language. She is more active than her twin sister.

Tenzin Dorjee is a semi orphan and his mother as the main breadwinner. He was born normal like other children. But when he was only 13 months old, he fell down from a second floor that cause his brain damage. Then at the age of 9, he was hit by motorcycle and his condition become worse. Now he is facing lots of problems in his daily life. Any help rendered for this boy would be highly appreciated.

Thinley Norbu has 4 elder brothers & 2 elder sisters. His father works in a Tibetan Co-operative Society as a salesman and his mother as housewife. A high fever at very early age caused him mental retardation. His parents sent him to school but it was difficult for him to retain the learned knowledge. After showing concern to a doctor, it was confirmed that the child was under the condition of mental retardation. Therefore, any support rendered to this child will be highly appreciated.

Tenzin Choephel has two siblings, who are an elder brother and an elder sister; both of them are attending school. His father is works at TCV school in Ladhak, and his mother is working as a manual labour. The child is under the condition of spastic cerebral palsy with right sided hemiparasis and contractive deformity with mental retardation. The child is cheerful by nature and his general understanding is quite good. The child has the potential to develop both mentally and physically.
