Dehradun, 10 December 2025: Ngoenga School for Tibetan Children with Special Needs commemorated the 36th anniversary of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s Nobel Peace Prize through an exhibition honouring his life, teachings, and enduring message of compassion and peace.

The event, held in observance of Human Rights Day, included workshops conducted by the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) on disability rights and the Social Model of Disability. In the morning session, Special Educator Prabha Hari from ADAPT engaged students in a creative block-printing activity. The afternoon session focused on inclusive education, bringing together teachers, staff, and foster parents for interactive discussions.

The event strengthened awareness of compassion, human rights, and inclusive practices within the school community.
